A classic Japanese teapot from the Oigen Foundry. The Oigen factory is in Mizusawa City in northern Japan, an area known for manufacturing cast iron products for more than 900 years. Oigen is one of the oldest manufacturers having been established in 1852.
Manufactured using traditional skills and techniques, the teapot includes an integral stainless steel removable strainer.
The capacity is 0.8l - suffiicient for 4 - 6 cups
